building reinforcement system

Our company, basing on the done sperimentation about building structural reinforcement works of the last 40 years in Italy, has designed and processed a sistem of reinforcement for cement plaster or eposidic plaster, consisting on a cage:  stitching mesh (inside-inside) + stitching mesh (outside-outside) + stitching bars (outside-inside)

The mesh is made up of a 50 mm x 50 mm mesh of 1.5 mm diameter steel wire closed by a mesh of flat bars tied in a knot every 500 mm x 500 mm. The knots make up the cage with the bar passing from inside to outside the masonry, where a similar mesh is laid continuously.

The final resistance capacity of the obtained reinforcement cage is never lower than the shear strength of the mechanical parts that compose it, which in particular is always ≥ 320 kg / cm2, which also respond to an optimal resistance to dynamic and static stresses.

Through the use of special pieces, standard or built upon dimentions of the designers, equivalent corner mesh panels allow to tie the walls to the floors with longitudinal and transversal reinforcement flat bars, instead of reinforced concrete rod, suitably prepared, allowing to seam the whole building.

The system is adapt to the restoration and static consolidation of any building in general, representing a continuous geodetic reinforcement model.

Easy to perform, it can be installed simply using:

– a simple hammer drill with a 15mm bit,

– a star wrench with ratchet SH13,

– using the starting modules supplied by us at the first order (repeatable equipment) to be placed on     horizontal blocks or held with M10 anchor bolts with double adjustment nut, used as anchor bolts either in the foundations or on the floor.

The concrete cover that will be laid as a slightly vibrated traditional plaster or as a spritz beton will be approximately 15 – 18 mm inside and outside the reinforcement (30-36 mm overall thickness).

It can be of a common type obtained with high-strength class 425 cement, dosed with hydraulic lime  and sands of medium to fine size, in order to allow the transpiration of the walls, or special pre-mixed plaster or epoxy plaster, commonly available on the market, according to the provisions of the designer. It is advisable to orient yourself on a binder, however, with characteristics of final strength never lower than 300 kg / cmq
